If you take more Etody tablets than you should, tell a doctor or go to a hospital casualty department straight away. Take the medicine pack with you. This is so the doctor knows what you have taken. Taking too much Etody Tablets can affect your stomach, kidney and heart.

If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. It is important that you use lowest dose that controls your pain and you should not use Etody for longer than necessary. Etody is for oral use, and can be taken with or without food.

Commonly occuring side effects are stomach pain, dry socket, swelling of the legs, dizziness, headache, irregular heartbeat and rhythm, increased blood pressure, shortness of breath, constipation, mouth ulcers, indigestion, bruising, weakness and fatigue.

Stop the medicine if you have an allergic reaction. The signs may include: a rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue. In case of other uncommon adverse effects patients are advised to consult the treating physician at the earliest.

Take this medicine only as directed by your doctor. Do not take more of it, do not take it more often, and do not take it for a longer time than your doctor ordered. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.

Do not take Ketof DT for longer than 5 days. Ask your healthcare professional how you should dispose of any medicine you do not use. Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor. This includes prescription or nonprescription (over-the-counter [OTC]) medicines and herbal or vitamin supplements.
Do not take Etody if:
1. you are allergic to Etoricoxib or any of the excipients.
2. you have a current stomach ulcer
3. you are pregnant, or intend to become pregnant,
4. you are breast-feeding or intend to breast-feed,
5. You are under 16 years of age.
Talk to your doctor about your past and present medical conditions before initiaiting medication as dosage adjustment may be required.
